# Configuring Study Site Addresses for Site Connect

Site Connect allows Sponsors, CROs, and Site Staff to create and manage study-specific addresses for study sites with the _Study Site Address_
(`study_site_address__v`) object. Site Staff can add or request changes to _Study Site Addresses_ in Site Home. Sponsors or CROs can review and approve changes to _Study Site Addresses_ by configuring the [_Site Address Change Request_ workflow][1].

## Configuration Overview

* Complete the initial _Study Site Addresses_ configuration
.
* Optional: Configure the [_Site Address Change Request_ workflow][1].

## Configuring the Site Address Change Request Workflow {#study-site-address-workflow}

Site Staff can request changes to _Study Site Addresses_ in Site Connect. Vault automatically accepts change requests by default.

However, Admins can configure the **Site Address Change Request** workflow
to require the review and approval of any _Study Site Address_ changes. When you configure the workflow in this way, any change made by the site user can be viewed in the _Site Change Request_ section on the _Study Site Address_ record.

The following system actions are available in the _Site Address Change Request_ workflow to accept or reject changes:

* _Resolve Change Request_: Makes the address updates requested by the site user
* _Clear Change Request_: Clears the updates requested by the site user

We recommend using the standard _Site Connect Address Approved_, _Site Connect Address Rejected_, and _Site Connect Address Workflow Cancelled_ notifications to notify Site Connect users of the _Site Address Change Request_ outcome.

## Related Permissions
You can complete all steps in this article and the Using Study Site Addresses in Site Connect
article with the standard _Business Administrator_, _System Administrator_, or _Vault Owner_ profile. If your Vault uses custom security profiles, your profile must have the permissions listed in the Configuring Study Site Addresses
