Sites often rely on Sponsor and CRO contact information when conducting a study trial. You can configure this contact information to display in Site Connect for site users to view. You can create contact information using a Study Person record, the Global Directory, or independently as a manual entry.

  • Study Contact: A list of all Study Contact records
  • Study Person Contact: Object type that shows Study Contacts records created from a study
  • Manual Study Contact: Object type that shows manually created Study Contact records
  • Study Person: Allows you to create a Study Contact record using the information on the Study Person record.

Create a Study Contact

Create Study Contact records to share your Sponsor or CRO information with study sites:

  1. Navigate to Site Connect > Study Contacts.

  2. Click Create.

  3. In the Create Study Contact dialog, select either Study Person Contact or Manual Study Contact.

  4. The Study Contact record layout opens. This record displays different fields depending on your previous selection. If you selected Study Person Contact, you can populate the Study Person field based on users associated with the selected Study. If you selected Manual Study Contact, you must enter the study contact’s name. Complete the remaining optional fields as needed. Keep in mind, an error will occur if the Study Person is not associated with the selected Study, Study Country, or Study Site.

  5. Click Save. The Study Contact record is now created. The layout displays a Site Connect Preview section showing the contact information to be shared via Site Connect.
