You can create and manage study-specific addresses for Study Sites using the Study Site Address (study_site_address__v) object.

Configuration Overview

Configuring Validations on Study Site Address

You may have instances where downstream systems, such as IRT/RTSM systems, require specific addresses that are shorter than the addresses Vault provides. For example, IP Shipment Addresses going to a shipping depot.

For these cases, Study Site Addresses support validation rules. Vault displays the configured validation rules when users make changes to Study Site Address records that do not satisfy the validation rules. We only recommend configuring validation rules when downstream systems require them.

You can complete all steps in this article and the Creating Study Site Addresses article with the standard Business Administrator, System Administrator, or Vault Owner profile. The following permissions control the ability to configure and create Study Site Addresses within Vault. If your Vault uses custom security profiles, your profile must have the following permissions:

Permission Type Permission Controls
Security Profile Admin: Objects Ability to add the Study Site Address related object section to the Study Site page layout
Security Profile Object: Study Site Address: Read, Create, Edit, Delete Ability to view, create, edit, or delete Study Site Address records
