You can create and manage study-specific addresses for study sites using the Study Site Address (study_site_address__v) object. You can create Locations from Study Site Addresses or vice versa.

Creating a Study Site Address

To create a new Study Site Address record:

  1. Navigate to the Study Site Address section of a Study Site record.
  2. Click Create.
  3. Search for and select a Location or enter the required address details. Selecting a Location populates the address details from the Location record in the global directory into the Study Site Address record.
  4. Select an Address Type from the drop-down list to specify the purpose of the Study Site Address.
  5. Enter an Address Name.
  6. Optional: Enter Additional Details.
  7. Optional: Enter delivery person information for Attention / Care Of.
  8. Click Save.

Once saved, Vault displays the new record in the Study Site Address section of the Study Site record.

Creating a Location from a Study Site Address

Select the Create Location from Address user action on Study Site Address records to create new global directory Location records from existing Study Site Addresses records. Performing this action creates a new Location record populated with the Study Site Address details.
